ABOUT
Building Designers Beyond the Classroom
The Yussof Hussein Emerging Textile Designer Program is an industry-supported initiative created to help students and emerging designers experience textile printing in a real production environment.
This program allows selected participants to print their designs on professional fabrics in small project quantities for portfolio and academic development, while learning the practical considerations of textile materials, print preparation, and production workflow.
Our aim is to support learning today and build long-term relationships with the designers and brands of tomorrow.

How The Program Works

Submit an application with project details and design preview
Our team reviews fabric suitability and production feasibility
Approved projects proceed to artwork setup and quotation
Printing is scheduled alongside standard production workflow
This ensures students gain experience aligned with real industry practices.

Program Guidelines
Minimum 5 meters
Selected polyester fabrics only (Light / Standard / Heavy)
Minimum 4 working days lead time
Portfolio and academic use only
Designs must be original and non-copyrighted
No urgent or last-minute production requests
Printed materials may include “NOT FOR SALE” marking
